Abstract
[fr] This study wants to evaluate the economic impact of the racetrack of Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. This circuit located in the heart of the Ardennes in Wallonia is known to be one of the most scenic round of the formula 1 championship. During a weekend this only event can bring millions of people’s eyes on Belgium and on Wallonia. It is then crucial for this region that the circuit welcomes the different events seriously and in an attractive manner.
By collecting different data and estimations concerning the spectators, the circuit and the regional
public authorities, this study is explaining to you if the Walloon region is right to refunded the company “Le circuit de Spa-Francorchamps” or not.
