Abstract

[en] Study on the Two-dimensional Bin Packing Problem with unforeseen dimensional item changes - called disruptions - preventing efficient bin predictions and packing. The aim of the thesis is to develop a proactive and reactive algorithm through a metaheuristic to explore different scenarios and effects in regards to item classes, disruption types, enlargement cases, etc.
