Abstract
[en] This thesis examines the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on risk management, performance, and profit maximization in sports betting companies, comparing these effects with those in traditional betting firms. The study combines a theoretical review with insights from industry professionals, particularly from Gaming1. Findings reveal that AI enhances risk detection, optimizes operations, and personalizes customer experiences, leading to increased profitability. However, challenges such as high costs and the risk of over-reliance on AI are noted. Recommendations include investing in training, enhancing data security, and balancing AI automation with human oversight.
