Abstract
[fr] Ce mémoire est centré sur le livre de Bev Sellars intitulé They Called Me Number One, dans lequel l'auteure raconte son expérience dans une école résidentielle au Canada lorsqu'elle était enfant. Sellars y décrit les abus psychologiques, physiques et sexuels qu'elle a subis. Dans mon travail, j'analyse les stratégies narratives utilisées par l'auteure afin de comprendre les impacts et les conséquences de ces écoles sur sa vie ainsi que sur celle de sa communauté.
