Abstract
[en] The representation of hyphenated identities and the struggle for self-identification among Asian/Indian minorities in audiovisual media have historically been relegated to side characters in TV shows. However, contemporary shows, like Never Have I Ever, that position these individuals as protagonists, are fostering a sense of individuality within these minority groups.
