Abstract

[en] With a deep competition between various carriers and between modes of transport, this dissertation deals with factors influencing transport mode choice. In other words, on what factors shippers base their modal decision between road, railways or inland waterways.The aim of this essay is to determine what factors influence transport mode choice and which ones favour all road solution and intermodal solutions.
