Abstract
[en] This work investigated whether there were any benefits to gain from the use of the textual genre of the podcast in the teaching of English to students of qualifying education within French-speaking Belgium.
To do so, an experimental didactic sequence, centred around conversational podcasts, was implemented in four classes of students following the qualifying option ‘reception and tourism agent’. A quick survey was also administered as a complement to the experiment. This master thesis argues that there are, indeed, both motivational and linguistic benefits to work with podcasts with pupils from qualifying education.
