Abstract
[en] This thesis has been completed based on a collaboration with the company GDTech who planned to upgrade its operating with the implementation of the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and project management modules of Odoo.
The introduction describes briefly what an ERP system is and the reasons why companies use it increasingly. I also present the objectives of this thesis and its structure.
The next section details the company GDTech, which I collaborated with for this thesis.
The first part of this thesis is dedicated to CRM. This provides a presentation of a CRM system. I also describe and comment the current client management methods used by GDTech. Then, examples are provided to illustrate how a CRM system can benefit GDTEch. Improvements and opportunities were presented to GDTech management as well as the sales department. Furthermore, profitability was evaluated with respect to the implementation of a CRM system at GDTech. The implementation of a CRM system was also discussed to highlight its challenges that include: management of change, roll-out of the implementation, communication, scheduling, scope, documentation. A conclusion summarizes this first part of the thesis.
The second part of this thesis is dedicated to project management. The structure of this second part is similar to the first part: presentation of project management, description of opportunities created by the project management module in Odoo, profitability of this implementation, detail of the implementation of the Odoo module and, the conclusion.
A conclusion finalizes this thesis.
