Abstract
[en] As a part-time freelance translator since 2015, we have asked ourselves which career path should we choose in the future, in the light of the increasing number of received orders and in view of our revenue growth. This master’s thesis is therefore an analysis of our business project: the future development of our complementary activity. This document is also a first draft of business plan relating to the development of our linguistic services activity and can be divided into four main sections.
The first main section is an analysis of the external and internal environment.
In the second main section, we discuss the strategic plan that we want to implement in order to develop our complementary activity.
The third main section is about the operational plan that highlights the actions to be taken to achieve the goals that are developed in the strategic plan.
In the fourth main section, we present a three-year financial plan detailing our business activity forecasts that are based on three assumptions: a scenario of normal activity, a pessimistic scenario and an optimistic scenario. This latter hypothesis has led to analyze the possibility to create a company.
In conclusion, we briefly summarize the content of this master’s thesis and we discuss its implications, the limitations of our project and some recommendations.
