Abstract
[en] This dissertation in didactics deals with the text genre of the press article in foreign language teaching, focusing on the tabloid press article in English as a foreign language. In order to have a multi-faceted approach to this topic, different points will be discussed as theoretical notions on the concepts of text genre, the press article and the tabloid press article, and the analyses of the legal requirements of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and a textbook corpus. In addition, the reader will also find a survey aimed at collecting declarative data from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation teachers about their uses of the press article and the tabloid press article. Finally, this dissertation ends with methodological suggestions for using the press article and the tabloid press article in the foreign language classroom.
